South London Symphonic Winds (incorporating Southwark Concert Band) is a friendly and welcoming wind orchestra playing a varied repertoire of classical arrangements, marches, popular music and modern pieces for wind band.

SLSW gives two formal concerts a year and plays at many community and outdoor events. Their performance venues include All Saints Dulwich, St Bartholomew’s Sydenham, Dulwich Festival, the London Marathon, Lambeth Palace Gardens, schools and community events, and bandstands across London during the summer season.
SLSW has toured abroad, including the champagne region of northern France.
SLSW welcomes wind players and percussionists of around ABRSM Grade 5 level and above, with no audition or other bar to entry. Repertoire has scope for e.g. bass clarinet, piccolo, saxophones, euphonium, bassoon, and percussion, making for a eclectic mix of sounds!
