Bob Bridges, together with SCB member Paul Millington, co-founded the South London Jazz Orchestra (SLJO).  The bands initially rehearsed in Herne Hill, moving to St Matthew’s Church Camberwell SE5 in 2010

Our Music Director Emeritus, Bob Bridges, established a small wind band and, with the help of some Arts Council funding, was able to purchase music and instruments. In time this band grew and became known as the Southwark Concert Band (SCB).
